The Greatest Story ever told

Can you imagine the scene?

We had been working together for three years when it all went horribly wrong and he died. We stuck together and a few days later, it was on Sunday evening. We were having a meal, the door opned and he stood there. He was still wounded but very much alive. We had seen him die and now he was a live. I don’t know how it happened but I do know it did happen. He suggested we touch him and he had flesh and bones like us. He helped himself to some food and ate it in front of us while we watched. He really was alive.

If this story is true then it’s probably the most important story in the history of the world. In sixty years time no one will remember any of our present cabinet but 2000 years later the Easter story is as intriguing as ever.
