Funerals
When someone you love dies you suddenly have a lot of decisions to make and this can be very hard on top of the emotional challenges of this time.
Your first point of contact is with the funeral directors and they will help you with all of the arrangements.
Whether you wish the service to be at St Lawrence’s or at the crematorium the funeral directors will contact us to fix the date.
Rev. Mike Saunders will then come to meet with you to discuss the service.
If you would like to hold your service in church then please think about giving half of the collection to the church fabric fund. It costs us about £1,700 a week to keep the church open and our only income is the donations of people who use the church.
We run the Bereavement Journey Course for any person who is bereaved, whether recently or dating back several years.
Who is the Bereavement Journey for?
Working through grief and the loss of a loved one takes a long time. Based on Christian principles, the course is suitable for anyone with or without a Christian faith.
