Calendar: 15-21 Jun 2026
Saturday 20 Jun
- Sat 20 June at 12:15 til 16:00
- Eddington House, Wantage Road, Eddington, Hungerford, RG17 0PL

This is a unique opportunity to come and look at the grounds of Eddington House; the entry fee includes a self-guided walk through the woodlands and gardens with gardeners on site to answer questions, as well as garden games on the lawn. There will be a trail to follow through the gardens and woodlands for children to follow.
Parking: there will be plenty of parking available on site. Please follow the signs and directions of any stewards there on the day.
Timings: the gardens are open 10am-4pm, and you'll be asked for an indication of your likely time of arrival, simply so we can get a rough idea for refreshments. You are welcome to come for the whole day or just part of it!
Refreshments: the following are available, at additional cost:
10am - midday Coffee Morning: For the first two hours, hot drinks will be available to purchase along with homemade cakes. A great way to start the morning!
Noon - 2pm Barbecue: Over lunchtime, a simple barbecue will be on the go, with a non-alcoholic bar.
2-4pm Cream Teas: In the afternoon, the Friends of St Lawrence's will be serving their legendary cream teas.
There will be a few stalls where you can purchase Eddington House products and plants.
Accessibility, clothing & footwear: Please note that the house itself will not be open, so come prepared for the weather on the day! There are uneven surfaces in the gardens, and some parts of the site will not be accessible to wheelchair users. We regret we have no accessible toilet facilities.
Dogs: Sorry, no dogs please.
Proceeds: the proceeds of this fund-raising event will go towards the St Lawrence’s Church Children and Youth Initiative
Tickets cost Adult (£10), Young Person: 12-18 (£5), Children under 12 (Free).
