Jesus is the reason for the season

I love Christmas. I love the food and drink and getting together with family and friends. But there is a real danger the most important things get squeezed out by our busyness. It is good to decorate the house, to buy and give gifts. It is good to prepare celebratory food and to enjoy it with family and friends.  

But the real reason for Christmas is that it is when we celebrate Jesus’ birthday. The day we remember that God loves us so much he came down to earth and lived among us to give us an example of a better way to live. 

So let’s enjoy ourselves this Christmas and let’s also make time to worship together. There are six different Christmas services over three different weekends. We have tried to make sure there is something for everyone. Everyone is welcome at every service.
